Our Story

Football for Humanity was founded by Christopher Thomas, a survivor whose vision was forged through years of sustained threat and crisis.

It all began after a super typhoon tore through the Philippines. Witnessing the destruction, Christopher felt a calling he could not ignore. He held one simple truth: football brings people together, and children love to play. A single ball gave them the chance to be children again, and with that first kick, the journey of healing began.​​

From that single act of kindness, Football for Humanity has grown into a globally recognised movement, helping children in the world’s toughest environments reclaim their childhood.
